On 29 March 2019th, a multiplier event took place in Bologna, organized by AECA in view of the start of the DCDS pilot courses in Emilia Romagna planned for the first week of April 2019. The meeting aimed to present briefly to potential trainees the DCDS project and the course content and organisation, and to pre-register interested participants. The VET providers, which are members of the AECA association, were also invited to the event, as an opportunity to know more about the DCDS project and the course. Over 40 people attended the event.
In the first part of the meeting, AECA DCDS coordinator Alex Boschetti highlighted the continuity with previous AECA training offers (always aiming at developing digital competence) as well as the novelty of the DCDS course, which is an experimental activity, carried out in the context of a European Erasmus+ project. Stefano Kluzer, AECA expert, illustrated the DCDS project aims and partners, the innovative character of the course (blended learning for low-digitally skilled adults), and its link to the European DigComp framework.
Roger Ottani and Christian Balla, the AECA teachers of the two DCDS courses, illustrated the course structure with Learning path Base + the complementary paths and the respective content, also referring to DigComp five digital competence areas. They also explained the intended use of the Moodle platform and the meaning of e-learning in the DCDS course.
At the end of the meeting, 23 participants pre-registered for the course. Eventually, participants were invited to a socialization moment in an outdoor space at the ground floor of AECA building.
