Latvian Information and Communication Technology Association (LIKTA) together with project associated partner Ventspils Digital Centre have launched DCDS pilot training in Ventspils. During the multiplier event organized in March, more than 50 participants applied, and 28 were selected to participate in the first DCDS pilot training programme in Latvia.
The first group started their training on 8th of April. All pilot participants are divided in 2 groups based on their previous experience, interests and skill level. The first group with lower level skills will focus their training more on digital skills for daily life and social inclusion and the second group will focus on digital skills for employment.
All trainings are divided in modules and individual learning pathways are applied to participants. Trainings are organised twice a week till the end of the May. DCDS pilot training is organized as a blended training course and face to face meetings are supplemented with online learning through e-learning environment digitalcompetences.eu. E-learning platform offers learning materials, summative and formative tests for individual training and practical tasks to establish the knowledge gained in face to face meetings.
