DCDS multiplier event opens ALL DIGITAL Week 2019 activities in Latvia
Latvian Information and Communication Technology association (LIKTA) together with DCDS project associated partner Ventspils Digital centre organised a 'Digital Competence Development System' multiplier event on 20 March in Ventspils.
More than 60 participants attended the event; they were target audience beneficiaries and representatives from different stakeholder institutions – secondary and higher education institutions, local municipality institutions and NGO’s participated in seminar. Participants were informed about DCDS project goals, developed training methodology, e-learning environment and platform. They also learned about pilot training in Latvia and possibility to join the pilot. After the presentations Latvian pilot training facilitator gave participants a practical insight and a short introduction lesson to planned training, to demonstrate the training process.
Seminar participants showed high interest in the developed training approach and almost all signed up to participate in pilot training activities, which will be held in Ventspils till May 2019. After the seminar the attendees had the possibility to receive individual consultations, exchange their opinions, talk to project representatives and the pilot training facilitator.>/p>
