On 20 June, Latvian partner LIKTA (Latvian Information and Communication Technology association) organized the first peer review event within the DCDS project. The peer review gathered field experts to collect feedback and carry out a disscussion about the Content Analysis Report developed after finalising research activities in project partner countries.
Experts represented various training institutions: Ventspils University Collage, Liepaja University, Tukums Evening and Distance Learning school, Zemgale Regional Competence development centre, Baltic Computer Academy, as well as policy makers from Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development.
Participants of the peer review shared their expectations and gave competent feedback and evaluation for further project development. They acknowledged the work already done on the research of existing initiatives and policies and agreed on conclusions from focus group interviews done with policy makers and target audience. Experts recommended some further steps to make the research deeper, more result oriented and provide a clear path for future development. The peer review was a valuable insight in opinions of the projects stakeholders in Latvia.
