A multiplier event on digital skills from the DAISSy research group in Greece
A Multiplier Event focusing to the upcoming training on Digital Skills was organized by the DAISSy research group on May 22 2019, at the Distance Library and Information Center of the Hellenic Open University.
The event started with the presentation of the Digital Competences Development System (DCDS), which is based on the DigComp 2.1 European Digital Competence Framework, and supports the development of digital skills through a combination of live educational sessions and digital materials and games available through an online platform. The participants showed strong interest in the training program and the respective content, which will be provided free of charge by the DAISSy Group of the Hellenic Open University in June 2019. The successful completion of the training will lead to the acquisition of a certificate of competence in basic digital skills.

It is noted that due to the increased interest, the deadline for the submission of interest to participate to the free DCDS training is extended until June 3, 2019. People interested to join should send an email to info@daissy.eap.gr, mentioning in the title the DCDS.
