DCDS is ready to go online!
The DCDS platform is at its latest stages of testing, in order to go online. The Hellenic Open University, with the support of project partners and stakeholders, designed and developed a motivating and informative learning that builds on engaging materials and sophisticated technology. The DCDS learning environment provides superior functionality of the tutor, including a recommender tool that supports them in delivering the appropriate content to the learners based on their actual needs, as well as areas to upload materials and facilitate the blended learning approach. The learners can find a tool to self-assess their current digital competences, and in collaboration with the tutor, to select the appropriate learning materials based on their needs and life plans.
The DCDS learning environment will be available in English, Italian, Romanian, Spanish, Greek and Latvian. It will support the blended learning approach, with learners starting their digital learning journey in the class and engaging gradually to the online means. Their engagement will be enhanced further with games-based learning elements, selected thoroughly after the analysis of the target group.
